Privacy.
Short version: basic analytics, nothing fancier.
The short version
We use Umami and Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate traffic: page views, browser, country, time on page. Umami also counts clicks on our contact buttons and form sends, so we can tell what’s working. No cookies, and no names or emails in any of it. No retargeting pixels. No Meta Pixel. No session-replay. No A/B testing tools. No mailing list. Nothing sold to anyone.
When you send the contact form, what you typed goes to our inbox and our CRM, along with how you found the site. When you click an email link, your own email client opens and sends the message to us directly. Either way, we read it, we reply, we keep it for as long as the project we’re working on requires. That’s the entire data flow.
If you’d rather skip the email-client step, the studio is at david@marketing-lions.com on any channel — text, LinkedIn, however you reach people.
The legal-ish version
What runs, what doesn’t, who sees what.
- Umami.
- Analytics we host ourselves. Counts page views, browser type, approximate country, time on page, clicks on contact buttons, and form sends, including the path and budget band picked on the form. No cookies. Nothing in it is tied to a name, an email, or a phone number.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics.
- Reports the same kind of aggregate traffic to Cloudflare. No cookies. We don’t link those visits to individual identities. Subject to Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- The contact form.
- What you enter, plus the page you came from and any campaign tag on your link, passes through Zapier to our inbox and to Attio, our CRM. We keep it for as long as the engagement requires plus a reasonable archive window. It doesn’t go anywhere else.
- Browser storage.
- We keep one small note in your browser so the homepage intro plays once instead of every visit. It stays on your device.
- No retargeting or replay.
- We don’t run Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, retargeting tags, A/B testing tools, or session-replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, and the rest).
- Hosting.
- Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL) for security and infrastructure purposes. We don’t query those logs unless something breaks.
- Email is email.
- When you email us, the message is stored in our inbox provider for as long as the engagement requires plus a reasonable archive window. We don’t share it with anyone outside the studio.
